Tuscaloosa: Summer of 1914 auditions announced

Heliotrope Arts and Prentice Concert Chorale announce auditions for their new dinner theater show, Tuscaloosa: Summer of 1914.

Need

  • 8-10 good soloists both male and female and additional choir members
  • One male actor/actress age 15-22 yrs. old
  • Two male actors age 20- 60 yrs. old
  • One female actress age 45-65 yrs. old

When

Saturday, Jan. 11 from 10:00 am – 12 noon or Monday, Jan.13 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm

The Choir room of First United Methodist Church in downtown Tuscaloosa.

Performance dates are March 14, 15, and 16

Prepare any song to sing for auditions and/or short monologue. Tuscaloosa: Summer of 1914 will include Ragtime piano, old vocal favorites from the turn of the century, 4-part men’s and women’s harmonies, a Sousa March, a Cakewalk, and a Silent Film all backed by a Dixieland band and Prentice Concert Chorale singing greats like Alexander’s Ragtime Band!
